Dandelion root has been noted for being an annoying weed, but it is in actual fact a very beneficial plant known for some useful medicine.

You can use the root in teas, tinctures, decoctions, poultices, and even grind this down into capsules. The dandelion root has been used for centuries to treat stomach and liver conditions and herbalists believe that it can also help acne, eczema, cholesterol, heartburn, digestion, even certain cancers

If you are allergic to ragweed, chrysanthemums, marigolds, chamomile, feverfew, yarrow or Daisy is it suggested that you avoid the dandelion root.
