Reishi has been shown to have immune-enhancing effects and is being touted as a medicinal mushroom, it also appears to be a general all-round tonic.

In recent studies they have discovered that mushroom helps relax muscles, improve sleep, and help with chronic pain, it has also shown to assist in heart function, reduce cholesterol, and has antioxidant benefits.

As it is an adaptogen it helps our body fight offs stress, regulates hormone levels increase cortisol levels that in turn can help with the quality of sleep and adrenal fatigue.

The mushroom itself is found on dead tree old stumps and logs and are also known as Ling Zhi, (the immortality mushroom).
